This report provides an overview of a research project that examined the experiences and perspectives of unemployed, underemployed, and employed women with disabilities, and their knowledge of and need for adaptive technology. While sustained and satisfying employment and economic self-sufficiency are critical to the health and social well-being of all Canadians, study participants reported a serious lack of access to the labour market.
