Union Roles In Workplace Literacy (1993)

This article argues that organized labour unions can play a vital role in workforce development and that unions, companies, and government work together to develop cooperative training initiatives. It focuses specifically on labour's responsibilities in this new relationship and examines labour's role in providing needed literacy and training programs.
