This is a report on the National Literacy Secretariat's "Policy Conversation on New Technologies and Literacy." It provides background information about the NLS and an overview of some new technologies. It also explains the policy conversation process, which was intended to obtain information and opinions from the public about whether or not a policy on literacy and technology is needed and if it is, what some of its components might be.
