This fact sheet summarizes the short and midterm outcomes of READ Saskatoon’s “Introduction to Family Literacy Training” program.

Immediately after completing their training, participants showed increased confidence and knowledge about facilitating a family literacy program. Surveyed by phone two years after completing their training, most participants were still committed to promoting family literacy.

The fact sheet is part of READ Saskatoon’s efforts to evaluate its programs to ensure that standards and goals are being met.
