Tutor Guide 2 - A guide for one-to-one tutoring of Essential Skills needed for everyday living (2011)

This guide is intended for tutors using the second module in the learning and teaching package prepared by the Newfoundland and Labrador Laubach Literacy Council for use with older adults. It is to be used with the equivalent student skill book and complements Skill Book 2 of the Laubach Way to Reading Series.

For each of the 12 lessons in this guide, the author begins by setting out a list of objectives and highlighting the Essential Skills needed. The lessons are based on a variety of activities, including using a debit card, reading a map, and calculating the cost of postage.

Most of the lessons in this module include a section on computer skills, which will require Internet access.
