Skill Book 2 - A guide to learning, enhancing, and practicing Essential Skills needed for everyday living (2011)

This document is intended for students using the second module in this teaching and learning package developed by the Newfoundland and Labrador Laubach Literacy Council and is to be used with the equivalent tutor guide. The author notes that this module can serve as a complement to the Skill Book 2 of the Laubach Way to Reading Series or it can be used as an independent learning resource tool.

This document contains 12 lessons that help develop Essential Skills through everyday activities like preparing a meal or filling out a receipt for a purchase. Most of the lessons include a component aimed at enhancing computer skills.

The author has included a checklist of objectives to help the learner track progress made. There is also a glossary of new words and space for making notes.
