The OALCF: Exploring Assessment Tools and Developing an Assessment Strategy - Webinar 2, presenter – Robyn Cook-Ritchie [Video – 1:51:27] (2012)

This is the concluding section of a two-part webinar series designed to help Literacy and Basic Skills (LBS) practitioners prepare for the implementation of the Ontario Adult Literacy Curriculum Framework (OALCF), beginning in April 2012. The webinar is presented by Robyn Cook-Ritchie, an LBS program manager and adult literacy consultant.

The second webinar builds on material presented in the first one, and the presenter takes some time at the beginning to review the earlier material.

Topics covered in this webinar include the effectiveness measures and performance indicators in the LBS performance management system; selecting, administering, and reporting on milestones; administering and reporting on culminating tasks; developing an assessment strategy; evaluating the use of an assessment tool; where other tools fit into an assessment strategy; where milestones and culminating tasks fit into an assessment strategy.

At various points during the webinar, the presenter takes questions from participants.

The webinar series was hosted by Community Literacy of Ontario (CLO) and funded by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU) of Ontario.
