How should our schools teach kids about money? [Video - 4:14] (2012)

This document is housed on the Sun Life Financial server, under Brighter Life.

This video, part of a series dealing with a variety of financial issues, features an interview with Gary Rabbior, president of Canadian Foundation for Economic Education.

Teaching children about money doesn’t mean adding a single course to the high school curriculum, he says. Instead, it should be part of the curriculum at every level, progressing along with children’s developing skills and abilities.

Financial literacy can be included within existing curriculum in many subjects, including math and language arts, he adds.
