Dealing with Stress – Workbook (2012)

This workbook is part of the “Career – Life – Work” series produced by the NWT Literacy Council. It is designed to help learners find out more about the nature and impact of stress, and discover some tools that can help them manage stress.

The author has included a list of stress signals; a test to determine whether someone’s habits and lifestyle are contributing to stress; instructions on keeping a stress journal; a discussion of work-life balance; stress busters; and a number of stress case studies.

Learners can use the workbook on their own. It can also be used as a supplementary resource for instructors who are teaching the section of the series that focuses on job success strategies.
