It provides a listening exercise about prominent Canadians who have made significant contributions to the country. Some examples include Emily Murphy, one of the "Famous Five" who fought for women's rights; Tommy Douglas, father of Canada's medicare system; scientist and broadcaster David Suzuki; and Lester B. Pearson, a diplomat and former prime minister.
