Workplace Education Activities in Saskatchewan: An Overview (1996)

This document presents the results of a survey conducted in Saskatchewan concerning Workplace Education. Twenty-nine organizations responded to the survey, which consisted of nearly 50 questions.

Responses are grouped in this document under the following categories: Number and types of workplace education ('WE') activities provided province wide; Instructional methods, educational materials and resources used; Need, interest in and demand for workplace education programs by business, unions and individuals; Unions and workplace education; Benefits of workplace education, assessment and follow-up; Workplace education challenges, concerns and obstacles; Present interest in, and use of, workplace education programs; and, Networking, communication and coordination.
