Native Learners Perceptions of Educational Climate in a Native Employment Preparation Program (1998)

This study explores what Native adult learners consider to be the best educational climate for a Native Employment Preparation Program. Research questions related to learner milieu, dimensions of the cultural, social, and instructional environments, and learner outcomes. The cultural environment was found to be the factor that had the most influence on providing a quality learning environment; the values, cooperation and supportiveness components were found influential in providing effective learning conditions.
