This handbook helps non-Native American adult educators understand the culture and traditions of the Native American adult students they are working with. The cultural concepts and lessons which are cited in this manual have been divided into the following areas: Physical, Emotional, Psychological, Financial, Social, Employment and Experiential. Differences between traditional Native American and non-Native American values and beliefs are presented.
