This material was compiled by Labrador White Bear Literacy Office and Learning Centres. There are two workbooks - Social Studies and Stories. Through both of these, you will learn about the spectacular scenery, fresh air and clear water, a province so rich in wildlife, history and adventure. With the Social Studies Workbook, you will have a better understanding of the history and cultural aspects of life in Newfoundland and Labrador. In the Stories Workbook, there is a variety of stories that reflect Labrador's traditions and heritage. Both of these workbooks contain exercises that are very useful in a learning environment.
