Conference Reports

This is a report of two Literate Cities Conferences, one in Richmond, British Columbia, and the other in Kingston, Ontario. Delegates attending the conferences represented municipal managers and unions, literacy non-profit agencies, workplace education/literacy learners, field program organizers, practitioners and governments. The conferences focused on the processes and principles involved in planning and implementing workplace literacy initiatives in municipal work sites.
