Strengthening Community Partnerships (2003)

The Ontario Native Literacy Coalition (ONLC), provides provincial networking and supports field development. The ONLC currently serves twenty-six (26) Native literacy programs throughout Ontario.

This project was intended to educate and inform communities and host organizations of the requirements and realities of Literacy and Basic Skills (LBS) funded Native literacy delivery, program development and administration. It was developed to improve communications with host organizations and stakeholders, and increase awareness and understanding of the every day demands being placed on practitioners.
