Staying the Course - Literacy and Health in the First Decade (2004)

Summary Report

Health literacy links our level of literacy with our ability to act upon health information and, ultimately, take control of our health. The Canadian Public Health Association hosted the Second Canadian Conference on Literacy and Health in Ottawa from October 17 to 19, 2004.

This conference built on 10 years of study and work in literacy and health that has been done by the CPHA and the 27 national health partners of the National Literacy and Health Program.
