State of Learning in Canada: Toward a Learning Future (2008)

What we've learned since 2007

The Canadian Council on Learning (CCL) is an independent, not-for-profit corporation funded through an agreement with Human Resources and Social Development Canada. This 2008 update provides further insight into Canada’s progress in learning through newly released or recently analyzed data. The State of Learning in Canada report examines many of the factors that contribute to successful lifelong learning within five key learning domains. The domains consist of early childhood learning, learning in school, post-secondary education, adult learning and aboriginal learning.
