Lesson 8: Visiting Homemaker (2005)

Complete a client progress report following guidelines

This lesson plan is geared to ESL (English as a Second Language) professionals in medicine, health care, social work or teaching. The lesson task, prepared by ESL teachers, is to complete a client progress report following documentation guidelines. This task builds on skills the learner already has such as knowledge of medical terminology and experience with how to report and record data for a multidiscipline health team. Suggested teacher resources and classroom materials are listed.

The six Essential Skills required are: Reading text, Document use, Writing, Oral communication, Thinking skills, and Continuous learning.
