Essential Skills at Work in the North Study Guide - Volume 1 (2010)

This study guide, aimed at both adult educators and adult learners, offers learning activities for the stories from the online tool “Essential Skills at Work in the North.”

Each story features a particular northern job, and the training and essential skills that people need for that work. The jobs are trapper, community health representative, heavy equipment operator, early childhood educator, environmental monitor, and underground mine worker.
