A guide to managing your money

This document has been prepared by Credit Canada, a non-profit organization that helps people develop their financial management skills.

The authors have included sections on setting financial goals for both the short and long term; tracking expenses; establishing a budget; and using credit wisely.

They have also included material aimed specifically at young people, including information on saving for postsecondary education and developing a realistic budget.

The document also includes a glossary of common financial terms like credit risk, default and secured loan.
