Identity theft (2009)

Prepared by Consolidated Credit Counseling Services of Canada, this self-help guide focuses on the growing problem of identity theft.

The authors explain that while there is no foolproof way to protect yourself against identity theft, it is possible to minimize the danger that information will be stolen and used by a thief. They offer tips for staying safer at home, in the workplace and online and explain what to do if identity theft does happen.

The authors have also included links to other sources of information about identity theft.
