Women and Money (2009)

Prepared by Consolidated Credit Counseling Services of Canada, this guide focuses on financial matters that may particularly affect women.

The authors note that statistically, women live longer than men, earn less money, and are less secure in retirement. On the other hand, women can be great budgeters, savers and entrepreneurs.

The authors provide advice on negotiating salaries; budgeting; planning for retirement; maintaining a separate credit history; and estate planning.
