Teamwork and Job Involvement Training (2010)

The goal of this manual is to help Inuit understand how brainstorming and team work can help them become self-sufficient.

The author uses the structure of the traditional igloo to illustrate the workplace, from the lowest point to the highest point. She discusses the need to deal with cultural change and be open to both new ideas and different cultures.

The author is an Inuk healer and elder from Pangnirtung, Nunavut, and the text has been directly translated into English from her traditional teaching, handwritten in Inuktitut syllables. Editing of the content and sentence structure has been kept to a minimum in order to maintain the integrity of the author’s work and oral traditional knowledge.
