Frontier College: Strategic Plan 2011-2014 (2011)

In 2010, Frontier College began developing a strategic plan for the period 2011-2014. In this document, the authors explain how they gathered the information required for developing the plan and the lessons they learned from the process.

The three-year plan is built on four key areas: community; communications; leadership; and sustainability. For each area, the authors identify goals and explain the strategies that will be used to achieve those goals.

By 2014, the authors say, Frontier College will be seen as a leading-edge centre for dialogue and thinking on literacy; be more significantly engaged with the research community; enjoy stronger support at all levels of government; be perceived as an innovator; communicate more effectively about its work; be a resource for expertise; and have a broader network of donors.

Frontier College is a national literacy organization that works in partnership with others to provide learning opportunities for Canadians of all ages.
