It was produced in memory of a fellow adult learner, Roderick Heffernan, who was part of the Antigonish Adult Upgrading program. The works contained in the collection describe the experiences, trials and triumphs of adult learners in Antigonish and are written in easy to read language that is engaging and motivational.
