Why People Volunteer (1992)

"Why People Volunteer" is an anecdotal study that takes a new look at volunteer motivation, satisfactions and dissatisfactions. It seeks to link findings from recent North American surveys about volunteerism with actual volunteer work experiences. It was an experiment of sorts, meant to increase understanding of what motivates people to volunteer and what keeps them coming back.
