Deeper into Math is a math workbook focuse on multiplication, division, fractions and decimals. Each section consists of an explanation of the concept followed by practical exercises. Before tackling the concepts in this workbook, students should complete the pretest included in the book to make sure they have the necessary addition and subtraction skills.

Plain language and clear design is a way of organizing information that makes sense. This style of writing or speaking uses straightforward, concrete and familiar words. The PEI Literacy Alliance created this manual to use with its workshop on plain language. It is part of the Alliance's Fostering Plain Language in Public Communicationsproject funded by the National Literacy Secretariat.

Every year, Independent Studies at Frontier College publishes a book of student writing. We've been doing this for 20 years. This year, we decided to publish the results of one of our class projects.
We are an Island is a collection of 41 lessons on Cape Breton Island social studies topics, including geography, history, civics and current events. Each lesson is accompanied by vocabulary exercises and comprehension questions. These activities are designed to meet outcomes specified by the Nova Scotia Adult Learning Program Levels 1 and 2.
