Books in the Home - Instructor's Program Manual (2004)

The Books in the Home Program Manual is a joint project between the Northwest Territories Literacy Council and Nunavut Literacy Council. The project follows the 1-2-3 Rhyme With Me Program Manual and “Read to Me…Read Together” Family Literacy Guide and is the next step in the initiative to promote and support family literacy programs in the two territories.

Communications Strategy for the Ontario Native Literacy Coalition (ONLC) (2001)

This is the final report for the ONLC Communications Strategy project, developed to target learners and encourage them to get involved in a Native literacy program. It includes samples of a newspaper ad, radio ad, and a booklet, all designed for this purpose.

Spread the Word: How to Implement a Community Literacy Festival (1999)

In the spring of 1998, Georgian Literacy held its first Spread the Word Literacy Festival in Collingwood, Ontario. The free, accessible day-long celebration featured readings by numerous well-known Canadian authors and many local writers. Visitors enjoyed story-telling, children's activities, entertainment, a celebrity book auction, an international food fair, a variety of exhibits, and much more.
