Directory of Plain Language Health Information (1999)

The purpose of the Directory is to help Canadian health professionals locate excellent examples of plain language health information on a variety of subjects. A list of 375 titles from 50 organizations is presented. As well, the Introduction tells readers how and why we chose the resources that are listed. The Appendices provide basic plain language and clear design tips.

Literacy and Mental Illness Resource List (1998)

This document lists the materials that are available from the resource library of the Canadian Mental Health Association in Melfort, Saskatchewan. Resources are categorized according to whether they are of interest to learners, to training and employment, to literacy workers, to adult educators, to life skills trainers, or to mental health workers. Lists of contacts in the fields of mental health and literacy are also included.
