This manual is intended for trainers who wish to deliver basic skills training in the workplace. Literacy in the Workplace is a collection of training programs consisting of activities and exercises for different workplace environments. This manual contains twenty different series covering a range of workplace activities such as reading memorandums, keeping time sheets, preparing invoices, administering petty cash, etc.
Hosted by WWestnet, the Integrating Essential Skills into Training Materials workshop held in Yellowknife, NW in May 2006, combined hands-on sessions with presentations and networking opportunities.
The goals of the Essential Skills and Food Sanitation and Hygiene Training Impact Study were to research the correlation between food safety training and essential skills and to lay the foundation for the development of user-friendly, practical training materials for food safety certification.
