Year Book: Independent Studies 2003-2004 (2004)

This book is a celebration of learning in the Independent Studies program at Frontier College for 2003-2004. Our program made many changes in the past year.

One of the most important was changing our class format to a “college” model. Students were offered a series of

The collection includes poetry, opinion pieces, book and movie reviews, and personal narratives. One learner wrote about her family’s escape, on foot, from Ethiopia. Others have written about their efforts to improve their literacy skills.
